Ah sorry for misunderstanding you there, I thought jokes were meant to be funny. Silly me.

That is true ssornosam, most jokes... or other people thinking words are jokes, is that they contain humour.
Now humour can be a matter of opinion, and my personal opinion is that the words previously contain no humour.

start by naming some characters i.e. an englishman an irishman etc

put them in a place i.e building site / barbershop

then make something happen to them maybe they dont like the sandwiches that they have got for their dinner.

then you could make the characters say something in turn with the next one being more outrageous than the last.

finally the last character to express his thoughts about said situation (see above i.e. building site) expresses himself in such a way that it forms the punch line of the joke.

this can be explained with the following.

Character = a punk

Scene = a road

something happening = The punk has crossed the road

then pose the question "why has this happened?"

give your audience the chance to tell you why when they can offer no reasonable explanation why this has happened, hit them with this.
